Is online Reiki Training Legitimate?
Yes—When Flexible Learning Is Paired with Meaningful Support!
Online training does not have to mean unsupported training. This facilitator-supported pathway combines structured, self-paced coursework with required Placement Integration Assignments, personal review, and feedback before students continue. The International Center for Reiki Training recognizes online teaching within the Holy Fire® Reiki system, and its founder, William Lee Rand, has personally taught Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Levels I & II online. CSEP builds upon the legitimacy of online learning by adding intentional checkpoints that support understanding, integration, and responsible practice—giving students flexibility without leaving them to navigate their Reiki training entirely on their own.
